The classic Color Shampoo (avocado oil + pomegranate extract) is formulated for all scalp types with a standard fragrance. The Color Shampoo Sensitive Skin replaces avocado with argan oil — finer and better tolerated on reactive skin — and adds oat extract specifically to soothe and improve the appearance of dry skin. Both help protect color, but if your scalp is sensitive to strong fragrances or conventional formulas, the Sensitive Skin version is the better fit.
Yes. Pomegranate extract and argan oil work on all types of color treatments — permanent, semi-permanent, balayage, and highlights. Argan oil, rich in vitamin E, helps protect the most lightened areas. For optimal results on very light or heavily treated hair, pairing it with the Color Sensitive Skin conditioner is recommended.
Technically yes — the formula is gentle, and its EWG Verified® certification guarantees the absence of ingredients of concern. However, if you don't need color protection, the Nourishing Shampoo Sensitive Skin (for dry hair) or the Volumizing & Shine Sensitive Skin (for fine hair) will better suit your hair profile without unnecessary color-protecting actives.
