All-Purpose or Specialty Cleaner?
The all-purpose cleaner is the generalist of the line. It suits most washable surfaces, such as tables, countertops and stainless steel, indoors and out. It comes in several fragrances as well as an unscented version. Its formula contains over 99% naturally derived ingredients with cleaning properties.
Its surfactants are glucosides, made from glucose and plant-based fatty alcohols. This type of non-ionic surfactant is known for dissolving dirt and grease.1
HOW TO USE
Spray, then wipe with a cloth or sponge. For stubborn dirt, let it sit for 1 to 2 minutes before wiping. A microfibre cloth helps leave a streak-free finish.
The other cleaners are specialists. Each is formulated for a specific type of dirt and room, such as grease in the kitchen or limescale in the shower. For everyday upkeep, the all-purpose cleaner does the job nicely. If the same stubborn dirt keeps coming back, reaching for the specialty cleaner is the right move.
BY ROOM
Kitchen
The kitchen cleaner is a degreaser designed for the greasy food residue that builds up around the stove and on countertops. Its formula contains over 99% naturally derived ingredients with cleaning properties. It contains the same surfactants as the all-purpose cleaner, plus lauryl glucoside, another plant-based surfactant. Together, they help emulsify grease and lift it from surfaces.1

HOW TO USE
Spray, then wipe or rinse, especially on surfaces that come into contact with food. For baked-on grease, let it sit for 1 to 2 minutes before wiping. On stainless steel, a microfibre cloth leaves a streak-free finish. As with any new product, test it first on a small, inconspicuous area.
Bathroom
Hard water, rich in calcium and magnesium, can form limescale deposits, especially when heated.2 In the shower and on faucets, these deposits quickly become noticeable. This is where the bathroom cleaner shines. Its formula contains over 94% naturally derived ingredients with cleaning properties.
It contains citric acid, an ingredient that helps clean limescale and soap residue. You can use it on ceramic, bathtubs, shower curtains and doors, toilet bowls, sinks and fixtures.
HOW TO USE
Spray, let it sit for a few moments, or for 5 to 10 minutes for maximum strength, especially on built-up limescale, then wipe or rinse. A soft cloth or sponge helps avoid scratching surfaces.
Be careful with natural stone. Acids can dissolve marble and limestone and dull their finish.3 Because it contains citric acid, this cleaner is not designed for these surfaces. For any delicate surface, test first on a small, inconspicuous area.
Daily Shower Maintenance
The daily shower and tile cleaner is designed to prevent buildup rather than strip it away. Its formula contains over 98% naturally derived ingredients with cleaning properties. It contains sodium gluconate, a chelating agent that binds to calcium.4 This ingredient helps make soap residue easier to clean and limits limescale buildup.
HOW TO USE
Spray it daily on all wet shower surfaces. It can be used with or without rinsing, and it is specially designed to remove and prevent soap residue without scrubbing or wiping. If your shower is very dirty, expect good results after 3 or 4 weeks of use, or wipe the first time you use it.
BY SURFACE
Windows and Mirrors
The window and mirror cleaner leaves glass crystal clear, with no streaks or residue. Its formula contains over 94% naturally derived ingredients with cleaning properties.
HOW TO USE
Spray a small amount, then wipe with a clean, dry microfibre cloth. For fingerprints, spray the cloth first. Too much product can leave streaks, so go easy, and avoid cleaning in direct sunlight or on hot glass. This cleaner is designed for windows and mirrors only, so do not use it on screens.
Floors
The floor cleaner for tile and wood is concentrated, because it is meant to be diluted. Its formula contains over 97% naturally derived ingredients with cleaning properties.
HOW TO USE
For everyday cleaning of floors and other surfaces, add 60 mL (¼ cup) of cleaner to 4 L of cold water, then clean the surface with a wrung-out mop. There is no need to rinse. For a deep clean, pour the undiluted product directly onto the surface or onto a sponge, then scrub and rinse. It suits most washable floors, such as laminate, tile, ceramic and vinyl.
On wood-finish floors, be sure to dilute the cleaner before using it. On unsealed wood or a delicate finish, test first in an inconspicuous corner.

4 Tips for Choosing the Right Cleaner
Choose by type of dirt, not only by room. Grease calls for a degreaser, limescale for a limescale remover, and daily upkeep for an all-purpose cleaner.
Always test on an inconspicuous area. This is especially important on natural stone, unsealed wood and delicate finishes.
Look for the EWG Verified® certification. It indicates products free of ingredients of concern according to the EWG, with a transparent ingredient list.5 All the cleaners featured here have earned it.
